With reference to your Confidential Despatch of the 17th January last, I have the honour to transmit for your information copy of map upon which the boundaries of the Colony have been laid down as accurately as existing surveys permit, together with copy of inscriptions which it is proposed to make on the boundary stones shown on the map when the stones are fixed.
At present the points are marked by cairns of stones and the boundary stones are being prepared.
